FAMILY ADVENTURE DAY – SATURDAY 17 JULY 2010 from 1300 to 1900 hrs at Bowley East Lancashire Scouts are hosting a summer adventure day aimed at family's wanting to celebrate the end of another school year with something a little different, we've got zip lines, a leap of faith, or grass sledging to get the adrenaline pumping plus loads of other activities to entertain the family. On July 17th Bowley Scout activity Centre will be open to all ages (you don't even have to be linked to scouts!) as our 47 acre camp site is split into 7 different zones all offering something totally unique, so if flying through the air, watching a volcano explode, or learning how to juggle sounds like your kind of adventure why not come along to Bowley for a day unlike any other. It is likely that there may be water activities too so it is recommended that a change of clothes/footwear and towel is taken. Parents will be pleased to know that there will be Cream Teas and a Hog Roast Admission prices for families: £3 Adult - £2 Child Entry Fee To go on our adrenaline pumping new adventure activities cost only £3.50 for an hour on an activity of your choice. As this is a “Family” event, brothers and sisters who may not be in Scouts are welcome too. Details of the date when we resume in September will be published on this website in the next few days.
